Oxfordshire Grand Prix Series 2007 ~ Round 4 Update
Last updated: Wednesday, 9 May, 2007Oxford City won the men’s team competition at Charlton. This year is very open with 4 different clubs scoring wins in the 4 races so far; surprisingly, only Woodstock of the top clubs has failed to notch up a win. Among the women, GP champions Headington scored their second successive win to go clear at the top.
With lots of points on offer in the individual competition, due to the size of the field, it was very important to race at Charlton. Previous leader, Jill Gibson, who didn’t, was relegated to 19th spot. Past champion Sally Pitts took her place. Among the men, Tony Lock extended his lead.
