Club Road Race Championship Races 2007

The poor weather has resulted in another of the club’s championship races being cancelled. In this instance the Thames Run, due to be held on Sunday, 22 July, has been cancelled as a result of the flooding. After villages in the Oxfordshire area became islands following the great Friday deluge this cancellation was wholly understandable on the grounds of safety.
As a consequence, the number of races constituting this year’s road race championships, which have already had two other races cancelled, has been reduced again. Hopefully, this won’t become a trend for future club championships!
Please also note that the club championship series now comprises 8 races of which each competitor’s best 6 results will count towards their final championship standing.
